| CURRENT PROJECT
1957 Chevrolet Bel Air, 2 door hardtop
What a true barn-find! This car came to us in its original paint. It had body damage and rust but not as extensive as many.
Fitting the body panels and chrome.
Rust repair in the trunk jamb, lower fender corners, and lower rear quarter panels.
The owner chose to restore the rolling chassis himself. So we removed the body from the frame after the panels were straightened and fit, the rust repaired and the body blocksanded together.
While the chassis was being restored we painted the body 2-tone.
Upper color: Adobe Beige
Lower color: Sierra Gold
We use a unique, spray-on coating on the interior floor as a sound and heat deadener. This makes any ride more comfortable and enjoyable.
Body on frame, engine installed. We wetsand the paint to let it cure before polishing.
