When the owner of this Mach1 brought us his project, we knew we had a few hours of metalwork ahead of us. No job is too big for us, we have experienced craftmen who do this every day.

Most of the sheetmetal on this Mustang will be replaced with Dynacorn OE style panels.

(*We are now a dealer of Dynacorn sheetmetal. Our experience has proven this brand to be the best fitting panels on the market.)

The owner began replacing the rotten floorpan until he came to the torque boxes and they wouldn't fit. Other than being hit in the right rear quarter, this car had been carried around the junkyard by a forklift so the body geometry was off. When he realized this he decided to call the professionals at Premium Auto Restoration.

We began by mounting the body on the jig and test-fitting the doors to pinpoint where to pull/ push to bring proper alignment to the entire body.

To eliminate the rust and bring the car back into shape, we are replacing the rear body panels including: the rear quarters, trunk floors and rear brace, tail light panel, quarter extensions, outer wheelhouses, upper deck panel and roof skin.
